Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Clean with Riam ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our website and cleaning services.

By accessing our website, booking our services, or using our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Service Booking & Scheduling

Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made through our website, phone, or WhatsApp
  • Bookings are confirmed upon payment or written confirmation
  • Service details and pricing are agreed upon booking
  • Special requirements must be communicated at booking

Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • 24+ hours notice: Free rescheduling or cancellation
  • Less than 24 hours: 50% of service fee may apply
  • No-show: Full service fee charged
  • Weather-related cancellations are handled case-by-case

Payment Terms

Payment Methods

  • • Payment by invoice or bank transfer by arrangement
  • • Bank transfers for commercial clients
  • • Cash payments (residential only)
  • • Regular payment plans available

Payment Schedule

  • • One-off services: Payment due upon completion
  • • Regular services: Payment in advance or monthly billing
  • • Commercial services: Net 14 days payment terms
  • • Late payments subject to 1.5% monthly charge

Important: All prices include VAT where applicable. Additional charges may apply for special requests, difficult access, or extremely soiled conditions not disclosed at booking.

  • • Maintain comprehensive insurance coverage

Customer Responsibilities

  • • Provide safe and reasonable access to property
  • • Secure or remove valuable and fragile items
  • • Inform us of any special requirements or hazards
  • • Provide working utilities (water, electricity)
  • • Report any issues within 24 hours
  • • Ensure pets are secure or removed from work areas
  • • Pay for services as agreed
  • • Treat our staff with respect and courtesy

Guarantee Coverage

  • • Missed areas will be re-cleaned at no charge
  • • Return visit within 24-48 hours of notification
  • • Alternative cleaner assignment if needed
  • • Partial or full refund in exceptional cases

Guarantee Conditions

  • • Issues must be reported within 24 hours
  • • Photographic evidence may be requested
  • • Does not cover items damaged by customer
  • • Subject to reasonable access for return visit

Liability & Insurance

Our Insurance Coverage

  • Public liability insurance: £2 million
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Employers' liability insurance
  • Comprehensive equipment coverage

Limitation of Liability

  • Maximum liability limited to service fee paid
  • No liability for pre-existing damage
  • Customer must secure valuables and fragile items
  • Claims must be reported within 24 hours

Important Exclusions

We are not liable for damage to: antiques, artwork, electronics without proper protection, items of sentimental value, silk or delicate fabrics, or any items not properly disclosed at time of booking. We recommend customers have appropriate home insurance coverage.

Website Use & Intellectual Property

Acceptable Use

  • • Use website for legitimate business purposes only
  • • Do not interfere with website functionality
  • • No unauthorized access or hacking attempts
  • • Respect our intellectual property rights
  • • Provide accurate information in all communications

Intellectual Property

  • • All website content is our property or licensed
  • • Trademarks and logos are protected
  • • No reproduction without written permission
  • • User reviews become our property when submitted
  • • Commercial use prohibited without license

Dispute Resolution

Step 1: Direct Contact

Contact us directly to resolve any issues. Most problems can be solved quickly through direct communication.

Step 2: Formal Complaint

Submit a formal written complaint. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.

Step 3: Mediation

If needed, we'll engage in mediation or arbitration under UK law. Legal action as last resort.

These terms are governed by English law and subject to UK jurisdiction.
